Linda, Heather, Karen and families would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and comrades of Jack for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them personally and by way of cards and floral tributes received following their sad loss.  Sincere thanks to Dr R. Sampson of Cairn Medical Practice for going beyond the call of duty, to Dr J. Renaud of Aird Medical Practice, to the nurses of both of those practices, to Marie Curie, to Dr Ed Paterson (Respiratory Consultant), Dr Claire Vincent (Acute Medicine Physician), to nurses of Ward GA, Raigmore Hospital for their kindness towards Jack and his family, who all ensured he was well loved and cared for.  Sincerest gratitude is extended to Rev. Alastair S. Younger for his uplifting service, to George and colleagues at D. Chisholm & Sons for their sympathetic and, at all times, professional handling of the funeral arrangements and to the British Legion for the catering.  Thanks are also extended to the many who paid their last respects at the service and the graveside and to those who donated generously in aid of Marie Curie, raising £476.10, which is gratefully received. Finally, thanks to the piper and the drummer and to all who participated in the very fitting “Cameron” send off at the graveside.  Jack would have been so proud of the turnout and amazing send off.
