If a passing occurs in a hospital, hospice or care home we will organise a time to take your loved one into our care.
Should a death be considered sudden or unexplained, it may have to be referred to the Procurator Fiscal. This may result in a delay of several days before you can make any funeral arrangements. In the meantime, you may wish to contact us so that we can guide you through the first steps.
Once a Medical Certificate of Cause of Death (Form 11) has been issued, you must contact the Registrar in order to register your loved ones passing.
When the time is right for you to meet with us, a meeting may be arranged in our funeral home or at the home of a family member.
