BURIALS

Inverness has two cemeteries within the city ~ Kilvean Cemetery and Tomnahurich Cemetery.

Tomnahurich Cemetery may be used for those who have an existing lair there; whereas Kilvean Cemetery offers new lairs which an be purchased for one, two or three coffin burials as well as cremated remains.

Each district throughout the Highlands have their own cemetery allowing residents to be laid to rest within their own community.

Some cemeteries have sections designated for cremated remains plots only.

CREMATIONS

Inverness Crematorium is located at Kilvean Road, Inverness IV3 8JN.

Inverness Crematorium has one Chapel ~ the Chapel can seat around one hundred and fourty attendees.

The Chapel can offer an organ, CD player, television screens and a loop system. 

The Chapel is accessible for wheelchair users.

Inverness Crematorium also has four Gardens of Rememberence; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Loved ones ashes may be scattered within these gardens by prior arrangement.
